Welcome to the «RREPS-11» Symposium!

  On behalf of the International Programme Committee and of the Organizational Committee, we are happy to announce that the IX International Symposium «Radiation from Relativistic Electrons in Periodic Structures» will be held in Royal Holloway University of London, Egham, United Kingdom, on September 12-16, 2011, organised by the John Adams Institute and by the Tomsk Polytechnic University.

The Symposium will focus on the following topics:

1.	General Properties of Radiation from Relativistic Particles
2.	Transition Radiation
3.	Parametric X- Radiation
4.	Diffraction Radiation, Smith-Purcell Effect
5.	Coherent Bremsstrahlung and Channeling Radiation
6.	Crystal-Assisted Processes
7.	Applications of Monochromatic X- and γ- Beams Produced at Electron Accelerators

  We invite colleagues developing these fundamental research topics, as well as those working on numerous applications of radiation from relativistic particles, to consider attending the Symposium.

  The modern methods of radiation production that are being developed – be it coherent diffraction radiation or bremsstrahlung radiation in crystals – are scientifically inspiring and, moreover, they may help to bring the advances of accelerator science to society and improve our lives via near term applications in biology, healthcare, and industry.

  We are looking forward to an intense, inspiring, and fruitful Symposium RREPS-11.
